A seasoned executive with over 30 years of technical and management leadership in the communications infrastructure industry, Dr. Sobti brings a wealth of expertise in shaping, building, and managing companies. His visionary leadership, complemented by energy and drive, has earned him a well-deserved reputation as an innovator who gets results.
Prior to joining Movius, Dr. Sobti was senior vice president of ADC and president of ADC's Broadband Access and Transport Group (BATG). BATG was comprised of the Broadband Communications Division (BCD), Broadband Wireless Group (BWG), Access Products Division (APD), Cable Access Systems Division (CASD), Transport Systems Division (TSD), and the Teledata Division. Dr. Sobti's responsibilities included managing operations, engineering, and sales and marketing initiatives. Under his leadership ADC purchased Pairgain Technologies and Broadband Access Systems, their largest acquisitions to date.
Dr. Sobti was also at Motorola for 24 years, where he ran a number of their businesses and led Motorola's participation in the third generation of wireless.
Dr. Sobti holds eighteen patents and has served on a variety of industry standards committees. He is on several boards and also teaches in the Electrical Engineering Department at the University of Kansas, where he earned his Ph.D. and M.S. in electrical engineering. He received his B.S. in engineering from Punjab Engineering College in India.
Matt Murphy

Matt Murphy is a Principal Partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, he joined in 1999. His focus areas of investment include security, networking, and semiconductors. Matt works closely with the management teams and boards of Google, Endforce, Devicescape, Movius, Kodiak Networks, RGB Networks, eASIC, Iolon, Scintera , and Quorum Systems.
Prior to KPCB, Matt led product management at NetBoost (a network processor company) from 2nd round of financing through and briefly after acquisition by Intel in 1999. Before NetBoost, Matt worked at Sun Microsystems where he led business development for the Network Systems Group and was a Product Line Manager for networking platforms.
Matt also worked in consulting for a number of years, including at Booz, Allen, & Hamilton where he focused on corporate strategy and at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) where he led computer systems integration projects.
Matt holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Tufts University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Dick Kramlich

Dick has more than 35 years of venture capital investment experience. Dick focuses on a broad range of technically oriented companies. He was fortunate to have been the first person to have invested in the Ethernet with Bob Metcalfe, an early investor in Balloon Angioplasty with John Simpson and also backed the company that originated PowerPoint presentations. Present board memberships include Fabric7 Systems, Financial Engines, Force10 Networks, Foveon, Informative, Visual Edge Technology, Tabula, Nexthop Technologies, Xoom Corporation and Zhone Technologies (NASDAQ: ZHNE). Previous board memberships include among others, 3Com Corporation (NASDAQ: COMS), Ascend Communications (acquired by Lucent Technologies), Dallas Semiconductor (acquired by Maxim Integrated Products), Healtheon/WedMD (NASDAQ: HLTH), Immunex (acquired by Amgen), InfoGear (acquired by Cisco Systems), Juniper Networks (NASDAQ: JNPR), Macromedia (NASDAQ: MACR) acquired by Adobe, NetSolve (NASDAQ: NTSL) acquired by Cisco Systems, Decru (acquired by Network Appliance), Silicon Graphics, and Semiconductor Manufacturing International (SMIC) (NYSE: SMI).
He was recently Chairman and President of the National Venture Capital Association. Prior to joining NEA, Dick was a General Partner of Arthur Rock & Associates and Executive Vice President of Gardner & Preston Moss. He received a Masters in Business Administration from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in History from Northwestern University. He has received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Venture Capital Association and the University of California-Haas School of Business. He and his wife Pam are noted collectors of Media Art.
Augie Cruciotti

Augie Cruciotti joined Anschutz Investment Company as a General Partner in 2006. Prior to joining Anschutz he was Chief Operating Office for IP Unity where he was responsible for scaling the company's operational, marketing, development and field support for the global growth anticipated in the next phase of IP Unity's lifecycle. Most recently, Augie was Qwest Communications' executive vice president of network services, where he led the organization that improved customer service performance to a level rated by the FCC as the best in the nation. Augie's leadership and strong record of process improvement led to numerous other accomplishments, including Qwest's VoIP deployment program, which quickly followed its first-in-class commitment to consumer VoIP services. He has a BA from Clermont McKenna College, as well as a BS and an MBA from University of Southern California.
