This course is base technician training for ICE switch technicians.

It includes a functional/hardware overview, basic console operations, system diagnostics, routine maintenance, and basic trouble analysis. The course begins with a description of the basic functions and features of the Versera ICE system. Students will learn how to troubleshoot, locate, and replace Versera ICE hardware and trace a call through the Versera ICE system. Basic provisioning and Linux software tasks are discussed. Students will learn to identify system components and verify their performance. Diagnosing system errors and alarms and performing routine maintenance tasks will be examined.
