This course is advanced technician training for ICE switch technicians. This course is designed for the technician who requires knowledge on the system technical operations. The student will learn configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic administration of the system. The student will learn to operate and maintain the Signaling Gateway Unit, the MyServices/MessageMe Server, the Missed Call Server, and the SMS Alert Server. Students will learn to complete trunking configuration according to system/switch requirements and properly manage trunks and isolate failures. Students will be provided information to configure, monitor, and test SMS links, while the database change utility command system wide broadcast messages are discussed.
