MI3V Versera Mereon Media Server

This course provides an overview of the media server. Students will learn to recognize common communication protocol requests and responses. Configuration management is a substantial part of this course where students will learn how to use various commands to manage, display, and change configurations and manage user accounts. Operations administration issues such as statistics monitoring, fault and alarm management, and performance management will be discussed. Various media server troubleshooting issues are examined at length with an emphasis on troubleshooting various alarm issues.

Students will learn advanced media server troubleshooting skills. A general knowledge of SCC-CP configuration and basic customization and troubleshooting is presented, and then students will learn about various media server operations, administration, and maintenance tasks. Statistic and traffic monitoring is also discussed. A significant part of this course is dedicated to media server call flows, voice XML architecture, and advanced troubleshooting.
